Day 0: Preparing to Leave Los Estados Unidos
Buenos dias! NMSU is about to embark on an adventure to South America. The American Quarter Horse Assocciation awarded the Aggies a grant to travel internationally and share the knowledge of the American Quarter Horse. Holly Howard, Abby Latham, Frankie Melgar, Lyndi Ownesby, Brenda King, Deanna Duran, Hannah Thompson, and Chelsea Campbell are the selected representatives of NMSU to teach equine training, nutrition, and management. The team starts their foreign trip tomorrow, Friday the 13th! Cross your fingers that safe travels follow the group and overcome any possible superstitions that accompany the date.
Currently, the girls are preparing presentations and lectures to use during the five days they will be teaching in conjunction with the National Agriculture Exposition.
